on New Year’s Eve 2025 I made 13 wishes with my friend , we folded them up, burned 12 of them and left those up to the universe, and whatever was left was our responsibility. the wish that ended up being my responsibility, was “throw the best party of the year”

it sounds silly, but a part of me thinks i already granted myself that wish. the “best” to me isnt a comparison to other people’s get together’s or gatherings, but rather giving myself permission to go balls to the wall, full out in celebraing myself.

so that’s exactly what I did and I could not have been happier with the result. I spent 2 months with my friends painting cardboard, and butcher paper and hanging things from my ceiling and using two entire rolls of masking tape to achieve this party and I could not be more proud of how everything turned out. AND im pretty sure everyone had fun 🥹🤘⭐️
