Meet my son, Josh.

Josh is autistic, and every day he reminds me that life isn't about being perfect—it's about celebrating progress.

He goes to a day program where he's learning life skills and becoming more independent. Some days are easy, some days are hard. He has behaviors that can be challenging, but he also has a spirit that lights up every room he walks into.

If you spend five minutes with Josh, you'll probably laugh. He's funny, keeps us on our toes, and has a way of seeing the world that's uniquely his own.

Being his mom has taught me more than I could ever teach him. Patience. Grace. Unconditional love. And that the smallest victories are often the biggest ones.

I've decided it's time to share a little more of our journey—not because it's perfect, but because it's real. I hope our story encourages someone, makes someone smile, or helps another family feel a little less alone.
