We love a dramatic gown moment in this house, and Valerie’s delicately-appliquéd lace gown by Calla Blanche definitely delivered. We can’t decide which detail we like the most, the thin floral straps, the detail on the bodice and skirt, the amazingly OTT veil, the wedding venue? All we know is that this gorgeous bride is one we will never forget. Congratulations, Val, we loved working with you!!!!😘😘😘

We’ve been so busy working with all of our wonderful brides that we forgot to say Happy New Year! We cannot thank everyone enough for their love and support over the last year -2022 was full of so much love and joy and stress and challenges and magic and there aren’t enough words to say how much we appreciate all the support and opportunities to be part of so many special moments in our client’s lives. We love each of you and we cannot wait to meet the 2023 nearlyweds who will be walking through our doors soon. Sending everyone love and light on this January day. I don’t really like posting photos of myself but I’ll make an exception as this one felt too big not to share. When I was a baby designer 20 years ago, I used to come into this shop and look around and spend hours choosing 1 or two things I could afford, and it felt like I would never find my footing as a designer, or that someone would point at me and say “you can’t be here, you have no clue what you’re doing”. Flash forward to last week-we went back to NY for a quick sourcing trip (and for me to say thank you to the two people who have supported the business the most during an insane year), and this time I had both my Lead Seamstress and my Operations Manager with me. We were able to buy whatever we wanted and needed, which we did. Is that success? I have no idea, but it does feel like a huge moment that deserves to be recognized, and something I’m sure all people who have started their own businesses will understand as something to be proud of. Anyway, sending a huge thanks to everyone who has ever bought a dress or had something altered, worked for us, or otherwise been one of the cheerleaders of this biz. I cannot thank you enough for believing in me, and I might even give myself a little pat on the back for getting this far too. 😘

Some big news today, Kpoene’, our creative director, owner, and designer of sister brand Mignonette, has a piece on the cover of Glamour Bulgaria magazine today! We couldn’t be more excited and also grateful to and for bringing us into this beautiful shoot, and of course to for giving us the ultimate gift!
