Hello HBCU Made Love Followers! I miss y’all!
I closed the online store in 2020 and have been off the grid for a minute! However, I was rocking this fire “Kente Queen” hoodie during my recent travels to Cancun and I was reminded that the culture needs this! I must say I felt a bit discriminated against while in Cancun. One incident was at the the Marriott Cancun Resort () where me and the other melanated individuals I was with were followed around the lobby by an employee and rushed out by this same employee when we were simply viewing the resort as a possible future lodging space. Wearing my Queen sweatshirt reminded me who the ____ I am! 👏🏽👏🏽 I spoke to the manager and asked that he train his staff on diversity!
At any rate, I’m ready to find opportunities to be a vendor and sell merch like the King and Queen collection! I will keep you all posted! 💋💋
