Blackwood BBQ has officially become one of our go-to family spots — the kids love it, we love it, and there’s seriously something for everyone! 🙌🏼 Their BBQ is smoked low & slow, the mac & cheese is a MUST, and they have daily specials that make it even better. 👏🏼

They’re currently running daily deals, including their $13.99 burger meal specials, plus rotating specials throughout the week — like smoked wings on Wednesdays and burnt ends on Fridays! 🍔🍗🔥

Luke had his first day of preschool today and was so excited! 🍎✏️

He kept telling me that I had to drop him off and go home. I told him momma was going to be sad and his response was, “ok mama, me come home after!” ♥️ He had no worries! Just excitement!

When it was time to pick him up, both of his teachers came up to me to tell me he was one of the only ones who did not cry after drop off. Instead he walked around hugging and rubbing the backs of the kids who were sad saying “it’s ok”😭🥹♥️ They said he is the most compassionate 2 year old they have ever met in all of the years they have been teaching!

After he got his backpack he asked to hug Evie Rose, saying “me miss you Evie Rose”🥰

He is the biggest boy and this momma is SO proud of him! 🫶🏻

I mean to be honest the degree was just a back up plan from the start🤣 I always knew I wanted to stay home with my babies and now I’m doing just that! Thankful for my husband who was always on board with me not working and does whatever he has to do that it works!🫶🏻
