Detour Sunglasses

At the end of the day we're all just kids chasing our dreams We wanted to make shades that you’re stoked on that won’t destroy your bank account.

Detour was started in 2012 out of Chicago, IL with the philosophy that sunglasses shouldn’t be so expensive that you’re afraid to wear them due to the fear that you might break or lose them. So take your Detours skateboarding, biking, surfing or wherever your little heart desires and put them to use! At Detour we believe life is too short to follow the path you’re told to follow. Make your own path, do what makes you happy, don’t be afraid to follow your dreams and just enjoy life. Every once in awhile take a detour! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or just want to say hi please do not hesitate to hit us up!

CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT!!

This week, we are shouting out a special fisherman, Jimmy. He loves his Breach Detour Sunglasses when out on the water looking for a good day filled with fishing. We have enjoyed getting to know Jimmy through his customer loyalty and are actually gearing up to partner with him in upcoming fishing tournaments that he host himself! Everyone, get to know Jimmy and why he loves Detour!

Nothing like a little Texas heat 😎🔥

We had such a great time partnering with Texas Heat 2026 and getting Detour shades on these athletes for event day! Seeing everyone out there competing, pushing the pace, and putting their sunglasses to work is exactly what we love to see.

Huge shoutout to the Texas Heat crew for having us along for the ride - and to all the athletes who showed up, showed out, and looked good doing it.

Until next time, Texas!
