More prints coming, in framed packs of four too. It’s been so fun working with my extensive nature photography in fun, artsy, colorful ways. I did get the good word I’m in at Bucktown Arts Festival this summer 🤩 (Aug. 26-37, save the date!) and awaiting word from some other local places. So gotta get back to my textile work real soon 😍 But this is fun.

Got my new Canon Pro printer today from B&H Photo Video Pro Audio. I was SO excited to try out this metallic Hahnemuehle paper on my upcoming photo series. Absolutely love it, can’t wait to stock up with prints to sell. More in the series coming soon.

Managed to design and complete this wall piece since the holiday market last month. It’s organic and somewhat typographical unintentionally. The piece was created to provide practice in sculpting the fibers. I’m just starting to get the hang of that. • • • I’ve had a rough start to the new year… unexpectedly losing my mother amidst our family holiday together. My world has had a seismic shift and everything feels different now. I will see what my new normal looks like in this new reality and I’m not sure when.

Hittin’ some screenprinting. Made these prints prepping for some lil pillows *hopefully* in time for the holiday market here at the studio building next weekend on Sun., Dec. 11, Noon—5pm (4200 W Diversey). We’ll see if it comes together. Fabric, filler n sewing machine at the ready!
