I’ve never been one to let grass grow under my feet… and honestly, I love that for me. 🙌🏽

I prayed for a life I wouldn’t need a vacation from. A career that would keep me inspired, challenged, moving, and excited to see what the next day brings.

And somehow, God keeps reminding me that He heard that prayer.

In my world, one phone call can completely change my schedule. One day I’m doing one thing, the next day I’m somewhere completely different. It’s not always glitz and glam. It’s not always easy. And some days definitely test me.

But even on the hard days, I can genuinely say, I love what I do.

I’m proud of the life I get to wake up and live. Proud of the career I’ve built. And incredibly grateful that the prayers I once whispered are now the life I get to experience.

Sometimes the blessing isn’t that life gets easier.
Sometimes the blessing is realizing you’re living the life you once prayed for. 🙏🏾

This shoot was such a good reminder of why I love what I do. Getting to create beautiful moments with beautiful people and making memories along the way. 💚

We did this shoot many, many moons ago, and I honestly don’t even know if I ever posted this video. 😂 But watching it back made me smile because I remember exactly how much fun we had that day.

Sparkle (Stephanie Edwards) , I simply just love you! I love the moments we spend together, the friendship, the laughs, the conversations, the creativity, and just being us. There’s nothing forced, nothing complicated… just us being us, and I cherish that.

Thank you for always trusting me, for letting me play, create and do what I love, and for always being YOU. You have such a beautiful heart, and I’ve always admired the way you continue to use your voice and your platform to pour back into other people and fight for those who need someone in their corner.

I love ya. Always have, always will. 💚

What do I do for fun…this is my fun! 😂

I’m naturally an introvert. You won’t find me chasing every event or trying to be seen. My gift is what brings me outside.

One day I’m pulling looks for a client. The next I’m on set. Then I’m sketching eyewear, approving samples, creating content, packing orders, or dreaming up the next collection.

I genuinely love talking about business, building businesses, growing businesses… and then starting another one 😎

I’m grateful that I get to wake up every day and do work that doesn’t feel like work.

Sometimes the best weekends are the ones that were never part of the itinerary. Every moment unfolded exactly the way God wanted it to ❤️

This weekend never made the itinerary, but somehow it unfolded exactly the way God wanted it to. Turns out, those are the best weekends.

They say if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.

This weekend, I had one plan and one plan only: the Chosen Few House Music Picnic. If you know me, you know it’s my favorite Chicago holiday. It’s the one weekend I plan months in advance. My clients even know that’s the one day of the year I’ll probably tell them “no” 😂

But God had other plans….When Opal Staples called and said she needed me, the answer was never going to be no. An opportunity to help prepare her for a once-in-a-lifetime performance opening for Babyface? There wasn’t even a decision to make.

For more than 10 years, we’ve shared some incredible moments together, and I’m forever grateful that she continues to trust me,not only with her, but now with Isaiah Sharkey as well. That kind of trust is something I never take for granted.

One phone call turned into a weekend full of unexpected turns, but somehow every detour led me exactly where I was supposed to be. I laughed, worked, created, and I was reminded that purpose doesn’t always follow our plans.

Thank you, Opal, for always believing in me and allowing me to be part of your biggest moments. And thank you to Kham'ryn B for helping us bring the vision to life on stage.

Not many people could pull me away from the House Music Picnic… but for you, I’d do it every single time.

Chicago, tomorrow is the day!

will be vending at Bowties & Stilettos at CineCity Studios from 3 PM to 9 PM, and I’m bringing something special with me.

Not only will you be able to shop the current collection, but you’ll also get an exclusive first look at my 2nd collection before it officially launches next week. You’ll be able to try on the new frames, purchase them on-site, and be among the first people to own them before they’re released to the public.

The day will also feature a special performance by of her new single, “Black Queen,” along with music from , , , , and .

“I know who you are. I’ve been looking forward to meeting you.” were the first words I heard when I met .

If I didn’t do anything else this weekend, I was going to make sure I showed up to the Making It Make Sense Tour and tell her thank you to her face.

For a long time, people have been telling me how much Sherri loves her , how well they fit her face, and how she’s spoken about EyeWigs™️ with so much love. Hearing that meant the world to me… but being able to stand in front of her and express my gratitude in person was a full-circle moment I will never take for granted.
