The Arden Jacket is manufactured in a limited edition of 10-12 and hand-numbered. It’s cut from a remarkably warm 28oz Shaniko wool fleece (with an undyed cotton backing) that is knit in Canton, Massachusetts by Draper Knitting, a sixth generation family run organization incorporated in 1856.
The wool used to knit the fabric comes from Merino and Merino/Rambouillet sheep raised in the Western U.S. by members of the Shaniko Wool Company farm group of ranches. Member ranches are located in California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming. Shaniko operates a program of American Merino wool that is fully traceable and certified to the leading Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and Nativa Regenerative global standards.
The Arden Jacket is ergonomically designed with a relaxed body and raglan-kimono sleeves that allow for exceptional range of motion. Highlighted by an oversized split kangaroo pocket that doubles as a hand muffler, a front left in-seam device pocket with a woven pocket bag that prevents it from stretching out over time, and an adjustable LICHENIZED drawstring hem.
