One of my favorite things to do when I’m looking for outfit or fashion inspo of any kind is to look through archived fashion ads and family photos from Iran pre-1978. The color, the fashion, the creativity was so perfect it still helps to today decide on fits and gives me hope for Iran to one day get back there, azadi.

I’m also currently reading a book by about the history of eyeliner, I’ve never been good at getting my makeup on right but looking through these and reading all about the history of sormeh as a form of resistance in Iran has me wanting to to start testing out my hand at it again.
