Gail Robinson, of First Presbyterian Kimbark’s Free Food Market, is worried about how families will afford groceries after the recent reduction in benefits – especially given that most families her pantry serves are SNAP participants.

Thankfully, pantries like Gail's are ready and willing to provide food to everyone in need. "I'm grateful for this place," says one pantry visitor.

Welcome to the Free Food Market located at 6400 S Kimbark Avenue inside Knox Hall, First Presbyterian Church of Chicago.

The Market is open every Thursday from 10 am - 12 noon.

We invite you to grocery shop with us. All items are FREE. Come in and fill your bags with fresh produce, dry goods, dairy products , fish, chicken and beef or pork.
