Over the next few weeks, we thought it was time to introduce some of the faces who help build and sustain the mission God has placed on our hearts at Eliora.

While many of you know and recognize Rob and me now, Eliora wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible people who serve alongside us each day. We are so grateful for the team God has assembled, and we’d love for you to get to know them a little better!

Today, we’d like to introduce our Assistant Manager, Alyssa.

One of the sweetest parts of Alyssa’s story is that we’ve known her since she was about 10 years old. We’ve had the privilege of watching her grow from a young girl into the remarkable woman she is today.

Before Eliora ever opened its doors, Alyssa interned with us at our Jackson store while completing her dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Finance. Even then, her dedication, professionalism, and heart for people stood out.

When God began opening doors for Eliora, we knew we wanted people on our team who shared our desire to create a place where others feel welcomed, encouraged, and seen. Alyssa was a natural fit.

Today, she serves as our Assistant Manager, helping keep countless moving pieces running behind the scenes while also caring for the people who walk through our doors each day. Whether she’s helping a customer find the perfect gift, organizing inventory, solving problems, or jumping in wherever she’s needed, she does it all with grace and a servant’s heart.

We’re incredibly thankful for Alyssa and the role she plays in this journey!

If you’ve had the opportunity to meet Alyssa, we’d love for you to help us show her some appreciation in the comments! 💚✨

Today, Eliora will be closed as we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

We pray today is filled with meaningful moments with family, gratitude for the freedoms we’ve been given, and remembrance for the sacrifices that made them possible.

We’ll reopen tomorrow during normal business hours. ❤️🤍💙

After my last post about the book wall and the message God has been placing so deeply on my heart lately… tonight honestly felt like confirmation.

Not in some loud, dramatic way.
Just in the quiet, gentle way God so often speaks.

We stood outside after the rain watching the boys laugh and point at this rainbow stretched across the sky, and I couldn’t stop thinking about the symbolism behind it all.

A rainbow only exists because of reflected light from the sun.

And maybe that’s why it hit me so deeply tonight — because that’s the heart behind Eliora too.

Not to draw attention to ourselves. Not to pretend life is perfect, but simply to reflect His light the best we can into a world that feels heavy sometimes.

Storms may come, but they are not the end of the story.

Tonight felt like one more gentle reminder to continue loving people well in His name- to simply reflect the love and light of Jesus however we can. 🌈🪩

This morning at church, our pastor preached about how every piece has purpose. Every broken piece. Every beautiful piece. Every part of the story God is still writing.

We had actually planned to stay home today and rest, but somehow we ended up in Chillicothe at the store instead… starting on this wall that has been sitting so heavily on my heart lately. And the more pages we pinned up, the more emotional it all felt.

Lately, we’ve had the privilege of so many people walking through Eliora and sharing pieces of their stories with us. Stories of heartbreak, loss, anxiety, uncertainty, exhaustion… people carrying heavy things quietly. And if I’m honest, those conversations have stayed with me long after the doors close at night.

This wall is becoming more than decor to me.
It feels like a reminder.

A reminder that no page is wasted.
No season is unseen.
No person is too broken for purpose.

I don’t know who may need this reminder today, but God has not forgotten you. He has not left you in the hard chapter. Even here… He is weaving grace into the broken pieces and purpose into the pain.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified… for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6

We hope that when this wall is finished, it will serve as a beautiful reminder of God’s love for you!🤍

Yesterday’s deliveries brought in a little bit of everything… and honestly, seeing these shelves fill back up again is such a good feeling. 🤍

We’ve been unpacking restocks on customer favorites along with some brand new finds throughout the store — Bible study accessories, devotionals, gifts for dads, bookmarks, journaling supplies, Bible cases, men’s resources, and more hitting the floor daily right now.

One of the sweetest parts of this season has been watching what YOU all are loving most and being intentional about restocking those areas while also continuing to bring in new things we pray encourage hearts and point people back to Jesus.

If it’s been a little while since you’ve stopped in, there’s a good chance you’ll notice something new waiting for you. ✨

Our NeeDoh “Nice Cream” squishies will officially be out on the floor TODAY at 5 PM!🍦

And truthfully… this post is especially for one sweet young lady who has faithfully called our store every single week for the last few weeks asking if they had arrived yet 🥹 We remembered you, and we’ve been hoping we could finally say “YES!”

So if this reaches you… your squishies are here 💛

These are soft, squishy, fun, and already giving us all the nostalgic happy vibes. We have a feeling they won’t stay long once they hit the shelves!
