Last year, this light weight polo is was requested by a Canadian/American golf league (hence the mixed flag logo) in Arizona. Turns out it was a hit. So, guess who's back!?!? This year we offer a ladies cut as well. Like always, a portion of the proceeds go to a cause.

Ohio has the FOURTH highest rate of reported mental illness in the country. Over 2 MILLION Ohioans report suffering from mental illness. Currently, more than half (1,088,000) Ohioans who reported suffering from mental illness HAVE NOT received any form of treatment. These numbers should bother you.

Those not receiving treatment cite cost and negative stigma as the main reasons they have not sought treatment. That should bother you.

You can help us destigmatize receiving mental health treatment by bringing awareness and showing your support to those who are suffering.

A portion of each shirt sale goes directly to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, an organization that provides services and education to those struggling and their families.

We are so excited to finally be back for our monthly awareness shirts!!

May is mental health awareness month.

Did you know that almost 50 million American adults are currently experiencing mental illness? Currently, more than 27 million American adults are currently going untreated.
According to the American Psychological Association, there are multiple reasons individuals do not seek help. The APA lists those reasons - in order of most reported - as follows:
1. Could not afford the cost
2. Did not know where to go for services
3. Might cause neighbors/community to have a negative opinion of the individual
4. Insurance doesn’t cover mental health services
5. Receiving treatment may negatively affect job
6. Did not want others to find out

At Kembla, we believe that mental health treatment is something everyone should be able to receive. With this month’s shirt, we aim to destigmatize the idea of obtaining mental health treatment by bringing awareness to such an important topic. We hope to send a message to those suffering that they are not alone, they are supported, and that the dark days will end. We also hope to provide resources and treatment options to those who cannot afford them on their own.

These men and women sacrifice everything so that we can live the lives we choose. I think we owe them a lot but the least we could do is bring awareness to their sacrifice, remember each and every one of them, and help their family members who are missing a huge part of themselves every day.

30% of profits from this t-shirt will go directly to a Remember Everyone Deployed organization that spends time and resources making sure these men and women are set up for success before deployment, during deployment, and once they return home. This organization even goes the extra mile to give resources to family members of those currently deployed. From carnival days that allow kids and parents to connect to others who truly understand what the other is going through, to meal trains for new mothers whose spouse is deployed.
