🌿 It’s hard to believe we’re already over a month into this journey.

When we opened Eliora, our prayer was simple: that it would be more than a store. We wanted it to be a place where people could find encouragement, meaningful gifts, and reminders of God’s love in the middle of everyday life.

One thing we’ve learned is that many people still think of us as “the bookstore”—and while we absolutely love our books, Bibles, and devotionals, there’s so much more to discover inside our walls.

From baby gifts and keepsakes to home décor, kitchen items, blankets, tumblers, journals, prayer cloths, apparel, and thoughtful gifts for every season of life, we’ve worked hard to create a space filled with items that inspire, encourage, and bless.

And now for the exciting part…

Next week, Rob and I will be heading to the Atlanta Market to personally shop for brand-new inventory for Eliora. We can’t wait to bring back fresh finds, unique products, and new collections that we believe you’ll love.

To help us prepare for everything that’s coming, we’re offering:

✨ 20% OFF ALL GIFTS & APPAREL ✨

Now is the perfect time to grab that item you’ve been eyeing, stock up on gifts, or treat yourself while helping us make room for what’s ahead.

As always, thank you for supporting this little dream God placed on our hearts. Every purchase, every prayer, every kind word, and every person who walks through our doors means more than you know.

We’d love to see you this week. 💚

— Rob & Kayla

P.S. If you’ve been in recently, tell us what section of the store you always find yourself browsing first. We’d love to hear! ✨

Last Sunday, we shared a glimpse of this wall( it’s completely covered now but I forgot to take a picture) and I wanted to take a moment to share the heart behind it.

When we purchased the inventory from Praises, there were some books with damaged pages that simply weren’t in a condition to place back on the shelves. As we sorted through them, I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away. The pages were damaged, but the words they carried still held value. They were still part of a story.

So we carefully disassembled some of those books and used the pages as the foundation of this piece.

Over the month of May, God has continually laid one message on my heart: damage does not determine worth.

For a long time, that was a lesson I struggled to learn myself. I spent years placing my value in the hands of people and their opinions of me. It took a long time to understand that my worth was never theirs to define. My value comes from my Heavenly Father, and He sees me—and each of us—as precious beyond measure.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve also become more comfortable sharing parts of my own testimony. There was a time when I carried a lot of shame about pieces of my story. I wanted to hide them. But through conversations with others, I’ve realized how powerful it can be when we allow God to use our stories to encourage someone else. The very things we wish we could erase are often the things God uses to remind another person they are not alone.

That’s where the next part of this wall comes in.

We would love to fill this space with testimonies from real people—stories of God’s faithfulness, redemption, healing, provision, restoration, or simply moments where He met you right where you were.

If you feel comfortable sharing your testimony, whether signed with your name or anonymously, we would be honored to include it on our front wall so others can read it and perhaps hear God speaking through your story.

“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul.” — Psalm 66:16

To help us fit as many stories as possible, please keep testimonies to about one page or less. Your testimony can be a detailed story or something as simple as, “God delivered me from…” or “God provided when…”—whatever you feel led to share.

You can comment your testimony below or email it to us at [email protected].

Because every page matters.
Every story matters.
Every person matters to God.

One month.

Today marks the last day of our first full month open as Eliora, and honestly, we're still in awe.

Over the past month we've watched familiar faces walk through our doors, met so many new friends, prayed with people, heard pieces of countless stories, and witnessed God move in ways we never could have planned ourselves.

When we first stepped into this space, we prayed that it would be more than just a store. We prayed it would be a place where people felt welcomed, encouraged, and reminded that they are loved. Watching that prayer come to life has been the greatest blessing of all.

To celebrate and simply say thank you for the support, kindness, encouragement, purchases, prayers, shares, and conversations that have carried us through this first month...

✨ All apparel is 20% OFF today! ✨

Whether you've shopped with us once, stopped in every week, or simply followed along and cheered us on from afar, thank you. We truly wouldn't be here without this community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping make this first month one we'll never forget.

✨ Meet Josh! ✨

Josh serves as one of our associates, and while many customers see the friendly smile, willingness to help, and positive attitude he brings to the store, we’ve had the opportunity to see so much more.

One of the things we appreciate most about Josh is his servant’s heart. Whether he’s helping customers find exactly what they’re looking for, restocking shelves, carrying boxes, tackling projects behind the scenes, or jumping in wherever he’s needed, he never hesitates to lend a hand.

Starting a business is one thing. Building a team of people who genuinely care about the mission and the people you’re serving is another. Josh has been a blessing in that journey, and we’re grateful for the role he plays in helping make Eliora a welcoming place for everyone who walks through our doors.

One thing we’ve learned over the last few months is that everyone on our team has unique gifts and strengths. As Eliora continues to grow, we’re excited about some ideas we have for connecting with our community in new ways. We’re not quite ready to share all the details yet, but there’s a good chance you’ll be seeing a little more of Josh in the future as we continue building both our in-store and online presence. 😊

We often talk about how God uses ordinary people in extraordinary ways, and one of the greatest blessings of this journey has been watching Him bring together a team that reflects His love through simple acts of kindness, encouragement, and service.

Josh, thank you for all you do. We’re thankful you’re part of the Eliora family.

If you’ve met Josh during one of your visits, help us show him some love in the comments! 💚✨

Over the next few weeks, we thought it was time to introduce some of the faces who help build and sustain the mission God has placed on our hearts at Eliora.

While many of you know and recognize Rob and me now, Eliora wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible people who serve alongside us each day. We are so grateful for the team God has assembled, and we’d love for you to get to know them a little better!

Today, we’d like to introduce our Assistant Manager, Alyssa.

One of the sweetest parts of Alyssa’s story is that we’ve known her since she was about 10 years old. We’ve had the privilege of watching her grow from a young girl into the remarkable woman she is today.

Before Eliora ever opened its doors, Alyssa interned with us at our Jackson store while completing her dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Finance. Even then, her dedication, professionalism, and heart for people stood out.

When God began opening doors for Eliora, we knew we wanted people on our team who shared our desire to create a place where others feel welcomed, encouraged, and seen. Alyssa was a natural fit.

Today, she serves as our Assistant Manager, helping keep countless moving pieces running behind the scenes while also caring for the people who walk through our doors each day. Whether she’s helping a customer find the perfect gift, organizing inventory, solving problems, or jumping in wherever she’s needed, she does it all with grace and a servant’s heart.

We’re incredibly thankful for Alyssa and the role she plays in this journey!

If you’ve had the opportunity to meet Alyssa, we’d love for you to help us show her some appreciation in the comments! 💚✨
