I dreamt up this business three years ago thinking that it would only ever be a dream. My schedule in college was jam packed with student orgs, jobs, and a full corse load. I applied for a communications internship and ended up landing the merchandising internship within that company. It was the first time I realized that someone trusted me to pursue fashion. Unfortunately that internship was postponed because of the pandemic and I was devastated. Even took it more personally than I should have. However, it gave me time I never thought I would have to launch this boutique. Running this business has taught me more than I could learn in a classroom. More than I could learn on YouTube or Tiktok. I thought I needed to stay on a linear path in college but taking the harder path has been so much more rewarding. Life after college isn’t exactly what most of us expected, hey, I’m still on the job hunt too! But this time is also so precious and we are going to learn a hell of a lot. I hope you can find peace right now in feeling so lost in these times. I’ll for sure have your back if you want to step more out of your comfort zone 💛
