Nizhoni Way Apparel's designer also contributed to as a correspondent for RezBiz Magazine, Navajo-Hopi Observer, and Native Youth Magazine. As a designer, NWA designer, Dwayne Clauschee, worked and studied fashion design and patternmaking in Los Angeles. Moreover, worked behind the scenes for such design houses as Escada and Halston. As well as, fashion shows for Phat Farm, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein as a fashion dresser.

Something I was working on this weekend. It looks like it's a child's top. It's a woman's petite medium with 3/4 sleeves. Pintucks on the bodice and sleeves. Scoop neck with a center back closure.

DUDES, my first ever NWA event I've had for a very long time. I will be conducting a private beginning sewing session in a couple of weeks. I'm pretty excited to see where people are at with their sewing skills. Should be fun.
