I've been quiet on here there last week or two. Yes, we're all fine here... Just busy.
This picture may not fit the rest of my usual feed, but it's what comprises most of my spare minutes these days.
When I'm not filling orders (I'm a bit behind with a sudden influx of orders and lots of emails, but catching up as fast as I can), I'm in the garden tending new seedlings, digging in dirt, moving mulch and planting trees.
Or in the kitchen baking sourdough, making elderberry syrup, cooking for my men or making extra food to freeze/give away. I'm on the phone A LOT, checking in on family and friends, trying to get to all the worried customer emails, and planning out the next few months.
I'm also training up a new assistant, which will hopefully help me stay in top of things and cut down on my turnaround time a bit as she gets more confident with the sewing machine.
I am beyond grateful for my little family, my friends, my garden, this town, my church and for a God who makes seeds to grow, rain to fall, birds to sing, and who holds everything in his hands, sustaining this life we love so much.
I pray for every single customer as I work on their holster, so if you have something you want someone to pray for, just drop me a note. It would be a privilege to pray for you.
These are uncertain times, and many are so afraid, some have lost jobs, others may loose their businesses... My heart aches for all of them. But I don't want to add to the stress and worry out there. So on my feed you will continue to see handmade holsters, concealed carry advice, and women supporting other women in their journey to carry concealed for personal protection.
If you're in need of cheering up and want to see green growing things, fresh sourdough bread, homeschool resources, recipes for yummy food, garden tours, natural remedies or the cutest 3 year old helper... You can head over to my other feed :)
Stay safe and healthy out there and if you need sourdough starter....send me a DM! I have plenty to share.
