COVID19 FREIGHT INFORMATION
A.) "Rapid Return" policies now in place allow carriers to immediately return shipments if they deem location is closed.
1. Returned shipments will result in additional charges for our customers.
2. PLEASE VERIFY LOCATION IS OPEN, ACCESSIBLE AND WE HAVE CORRECT RECEIVING HOURS & CONTACT INFORMATION.
B.) Some carriers are not requiring a signed delivery receipt.
1. Customers must report damage or loss no more than 5 days from delivery.
i. Document damage by taking pictures.
ii. Pictures should be from a distance as well as close up.
iii. If possible, snap a picture while the freight is on the trailer.
C.) If a driver says they will note the damage:
1. Customer should request an exception number and/or physically watch the driver note it and take a picture of that notation.
