Since our founding in 1842, serving those who protect and defend our country has been central to who we are. It continues to be a responsibility we carry with great pride at Fechheimer.
As we observe Memorial Day, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day, and it is a debt that can never be repaid.
This day holds special meaning for me personally. My father served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era, enlisting out of a deep sense of duty to his country. He served as a nuclear power operator aboard the U.S.S. California and was recognized with both a Presidential Commendation and a Meritorious Advancement. Both of my grandfathers also served. One in the Army and one in the Marine Corps, making service a defining part of our family history.
Like many families across this country, we have a deep and lasting respect for those who have worn the uniform, and especially for those who gave everything in its defense.
We are equally grateful to the men and women serving today, including our public safety professionals, and first responders, who continue to stand on the front lines each day to protect our communities.
We thank them for their service, their sacrifice, and their unwavering commitment.
On behalf of all of us at Fechheimer, thank you for your continued partnership. This Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
