All profits support WordPlay Cincy and its creative writing programs for kids and teens. Urban Legend Typewriters is a social enterprise, the quirky retail sidekick of the literacy nonprofit WordPlay Cincy. We sell antique typewriters and offer typewriter repairs, with 100% of proceeds from the store going directly to support WordPlay's incredible literacy work with children and teens from areas o

f concentrated poverty in Cincinnati. Our typewriter professional, Richard Pοlt, literally wrote the book on the topic: The Typewriter Revolution is available in our store and online at www.typewriterrevolution.com. He volunteers his time as a gift to the community through Urban Legend Typewriters.
