What a summer. 🤍

Five new stores, a new website, countless boxes, plenty of road trips, a few pivots — and a whole lot learned along the way.

Looking back, I’m proud of how much changed, how quickly we learned to adapt, and how much this business continues to teach me.

Summer was quite a chapter. Now we’re ready to see what fall brings. 🍂

A few months in, and our shop in Moore, OK is starting to tell us what it wants.

We looked at what was selling, what wasn’t getting noticed, and made a few changes — less shelving, more room for apparel, jewelry front and center, and a LOT more crimson. ❤️

One thing I’m learning from opening these stores: sometimes the answer isn’t adding more stuff. It’s paying attention to what’s already working.

Now we watch the numbers and see what Moore tells us next!

Market days are about so much more than finding cute things.

With five stores and a full fall show schedule, I’m usually walking Market with a pretty specific wish list — but I’m also looking for inspiration, new trends and those unexpected pieces that catch my eye.

Then comes the real work: checking inventory, comparing delivery dates, deciding what makes sense for each store and figuring out how it all works together.

Finding things I love is the easy part. Deciding what to buy, where it goes and when we need it is the hard part. ❤️

Turns out “building a booth” is a whole lot more than putting out a few racks. 😂

From unloading the car and hanging lights to wallpaper, slat wall, labels, fixtures and finally merchandising it all…there are about 400 little steps before it starts looking like a store.

But somehow, all that chaos turns into this. 🤍
