Hi Friends,
Ringler Custom Leather is changing focus. After June 1,2024, I will no longer be accepting custom orders. If you have a special project in mind, now is the time to get in touch. I will build the orders in the order that I receive them.

After June 1st, I will be teaching and building some of the most common inventory to keep stock for sale and shows. If you are interested in a class, call or email me and we'll discuss your leatherworking goals.

Exciting news on the shop addition front! Our neighbors Dave Hoffert and Paul Burling came over and buried the water and sewer lines. With each step of the addition, Von is getting closer to his goal of teaching leatherwork in a bright new classroom. Forty-two years ago I carved my first Tandy Leather coaster. When I look at it now, I wince at all the flaws, but I still remember how excited I was to see a 3D picture emerge as if by magic.

When I bought the business over 35 years ago, this press and an assortment of stamps came with it. Most of the stamps are typical, such as horses, deer and buffalo, but some are well...unusual. They include a human foot, a peace sign, and Lady Godiva, along with several others. When I have time to do a kids activity at a nonprofit, I w**d out the strange stamps like the flamingo in a beach hat and enlist the help of my family to stamp bookmarks with the kids.

The Beast Feast was a huge success this past Saturday. Thanks to Joel Profit and his crew of volunteers for a super time with great food, prizes and a timely message.
