Hi everyone! First of all, thank you so much for checking out my work! I’m an independent artist based near Pittsburgh, PA, and I absolutely love creating whimsical bridal accessories. (And jewelry for any special occasion, really.) My name’s Angie Candell, and I’m actually a photographer too! Funny story, but I’ve photographed bridal collections by other designers for the past decade, and it really inspired me to try my hand at it!

MY JEWELRY STYLE

Just like my photography work, my handmade accessories definitely have a bit of a fairytale/whimsical flair to them. I love to create one of a kind designs . I also dabble in several different types of jewelry, including (but never limited to) crowns, headbands, earrings, hair combs & clips, pins/boutonnieres & more!
My jewelry has a very feminine vibe to it- lots of flowers, butterflies, and pearl elements. I’ve also recently started creating the majority of my pieces from air-dry clay, and I have to say that I’m pretty much in love with this medium! Being able to actually hand-sculpt the flowers, leaves and other elements of my pieces has brought a whole new level to my work!

WHO I DESIGN FOR

When I’m designing my pieces, there are several different type of clients that I’m keeping in mind.

1.) Nature Lover- this woman has a free spirit, and loves going out in nature. While she’s not quite “bohemian” by the cultural definition, she definitely marches to the beat of her own drum.

2.) Renaissance Woman- This client loves the detail and ornateness of the ‘old world’- she’d choose a piece of jewelry with history & uniqueness to it rather than a mass produced design.

3.) She’s a little “Extra”- And not afraid to show it. For her wedding day, she loves bold pieces that make her feel like the queen she is.

4.) Feminine to the Core- This woman loves soft, pretty styles when it comes to her jewelry.
