Found at the base of trees close to ponds, streams and lakes. These Mushrooms are partial to breaking down amphibian carcasses mainly their mucus layers and the glands that produce them.
Poison: When eaten these Mushrooms deal 1d6 temporary Constitution damage that lasts for 1 hour. This effect can only affect the victim once per week and does not stack.
When used as a spell component that gives the target any type of bonus to movement, the target also gains +15 ft to all jump distances (forward and up) and is immune to any spells or effects that would cause Constitution loss. How would you use this? Let us know in the comments.

Living in old ruins or near populated rocky places, this should make spelunkers, dungeoneers and adventurers wary. Medusae eat their stony victims by absorbing their essence within. Direct eye contact is best left to the foolhardy.

1.Mountain Climber: “Saw a maze in the distance full of statues about a year ago. The trees have covered it over. So I’m not sure where it was exactly, but it was near those old ruins.”
2.Forager: I went out to the cliffsides for some eggs and saw a grotesque Elven statue and in its hand were some half snake bones. It was weird because the bones weren’t stone.
3.Farmer: “One of the sheep ran off the other night. Went toward those rocky hills where the sweet grass grows. I heard some hissing and the sheep ran home. I wasn’t too long after. I don’t remember reptiles that close. Anything living for that matter.”
4.Quest posting:
               Wanted: Information on Disappearance of people along the mountain trail. There have been a string of missing people who use the mountain pass for trade and travel. Information given: Tracks of a large snake and new stone found on the trail. Find out who or what is causing the disappearances and if feasible take care of the culprit.
5.Governor: “I have been witnessing a great deal of adventurers leaving for the ruins and not coming back. The ones who return say there is a monster that can turn people to stone. If anyone is brave enough I have the gold to back up my claim.”
6.Former adventurer: “If you ever find one, look for shed skin the size of a sleeping roll, half bodied snake skeletons and randomly placed statues in a garden. They like to live near their “gardens” and carry a mirror.”

Found in Canopies of Mountainous Rainforests
This vine plant’s flowers only bloom during heavy rainstorms. Drops of water which fall upon the flower wash the magical properties from the flower after 1 hour of the beginning of the storm, however only 10 drops from each flower fall during that hour. When gathered, only 10 ounces of the nectar can be gathered at one time, any more and the nectar spoils.
When 1 ounce is used as a spell component for a spell which targets a single target and heals or cures that target, both the target and caster gain a bonus 20 temporary HP, for 1d+6 for 4 rounds. These temporary HP are lost after the caster’s and targets HP are reduced and do not stack with any other temporary HP bonuses. These temporary HP can be shared between the caster and the target as a reaction and may not be magically dispelled.

While exploring a ruined city the party comes across an old building which gives the party a feeling of warmth and protection. The building is a ruined temple to a Goddess long forgotten. A tree sits in the center of a small courtyard. One side of the courtyard is overgrown with rose bushes and palm sized gemstones of various types and values sit at the base of the tree. On closer inspection, the stones have inscriptions of names or initials, many have 2 sets, but some larger stones have 4 or more. These stones cannot be moved in any way once placed. A voice can be heard as if coming from a distance but can only be heard by any who stand at the center of the courtyard either near the roses or stones, “Welcome, here you are safe. This is a place of love and protection. Please, if you would, leave an engraving as tribute to those who you love now, or those whom you have loved greatly. Be safe, rested and well. May your heartsong reach She who sings, and love those who wish to be loved.”
If the Party takes a short rest while within the courtyard, the party is healed a value of up to half of their HP Total without going over their total, any negative effects or illnesses are cured, any healing spells heal for Max HP and any Protection Domain or Abjuration spells cast within the Courtyard are cast with double duration unless the duration is an undefined time. This effect may only be used 1/week unless a Cleric or Paladin of GrimStar is present, which can be used 1/day.

Music Domain

By using the innate magical essence of tone and cadence, the Music domain allows the cleric to focus on control of the battlefield and protecting the other members of their party. Music Domain Clerics are prone to making friends and gathering crowds with their need to please an audience. These clerics are closest to bards and entertainers of those who flock around to be enveloped by the Music Cleric’s divine sound.



Music Domain Spells

Level 1- Sleep, Charm Person

Level 3- Fear, Sending

Level 5- Awaken, Hold Monster

Leve 7- Mass Suggestion, Otto’s Irresistible Dance

Level 9- Power Word: Stun, Power Word: Heal



Bonus Proficiencies

When this Domain is chosen at level 1, the Cleric gains proficiency with Musical instruments and the skill: Performance.

Channel Divinity: Healing Melody

At level 2, as a bonus action the Cleric may use their Channel Divinity to cure any mind-effecting conditions to allies within a 10’ R

Dissonant Note

At Level 6, as a reaction, the Music cleric may make a performance check against a successful melee attack against an ally within 20’ of the Music Cleric vs. the opponent’s attack roll. If the performance check is higher than the attack roll the Music Cleric may subtract 1d8 + (music Cleric’s Charisma Modifier) from the attack roll, this new total is the opponent’s attack roll. The Music Cleric may use this ability a number of times equal to their Charisma modifier which renews after a short rest.

Magnum Opus

At level 17, if the Cleric does not move during their turn and the Music Cleric casts a healing spell, the cleric may effect all within a 15’R. If the spell effects multiple targets, the Music cleric may re-roll any dice which roll 2 or less.

Grimstar’s followers are mainly Bards or people of musical inclination, however any person who values balance over creation and destruction can also be found amongst her ranks.

Grimstar followers value any people or persons who have shown great depth of character and selflessness going so far as to call them family; where family can be defined as a person who will selflessly give, to those who are deserving, when the opportunity arises.

Clergy and Temples

GrimStar’s Clerics have been known to take bard levels as well as cleric levels, however it is not required. They focus on trying to further knowledge and spread any knowledge in the form of song or story to be passed down from generation to generation. Also known for their healing abilities Grimstar’s clerics tend to be a backline reservist or healer in times of battle but are known to wield dual daggers with cunning efficiency.

GrimStar does not have any form of building for worship but instead is found strongest where music is heard or stories are told.

With Valentine’s Day coming up we will have a line of products featuring our Goddess of love, her name is GrimStar. Despite her name she is the Goddess of love. One of the most important beliefs she imparts is that one should love themselves, to give love to others. “Without you there is no we”.
