With heavy hearts, my wife and I are reaching out for help after a year that no family should have to face. Late last year, we lost our beloved son to cancer—the grief is still so raw. Before we could even catch our breath, I suffered a serious shoulder injury that left me unable to work. I’ve been trying everything I can—selling what I have, doing odd jobs, even designing and selling clothes—but it’s not enough to cover rent, utilities, or groceries.

Then, just a few weeks ago, my wife had to have unexpected surgery. She’s healing and ready to return to work, but the bills have piled up faster than we can manage. We’ve always been the ones helping others when they were in need, sharing what little we had. Now, for the first time, we are the ones asking.

If you can spare even $5 or $20, it would mean the world to us as we try to keep our home and keep moving forward. If you’re not able to give, a share of this post would also help more than you know. We believe in paying it forward—always have, always will.

Thank you for reading and for any kindness you can offer. With love and gratitude,
Nikolai & Family

I want to thank everyone for showing up yesterday, so many different walks of life. Even if you didn't make it for any number of reasons, you were there in spirit whether you know it or not. Austin! You were loved by so many.

As of last night at 7:13pm, my son took his last breath in my wife and my arms. He lost this fight. But in the process, I had the honor to see what REAL "strength" is. I pride myself on being a strong person. But none of my efforts can compare to this young man fortitude.

Okay. I have not been keeping this up to date at all. To whoever cares to know, my step son, Austin is not doing well. His transplant(bone marrow) went pretty smooth, a lot of people were really excited. However, since then he has had multiple surgeries including his bladder and kidneys. He does not look himself at all. He was on life support, and then taken off, because they thought it safe to do so. Currently he is back on life support at the cancer institute. The doctors are not optimistic. He cannot currently breath on his own. I think his battle with Leukemia may be coming to an end. Please extend your minds and hearts to my family. Especially my wife. Those two have to be some of the strongest people ill ever meet.

So Austin got the transplant that he needed, however he is going to need another one. I have a feeling it will all work out. Its just hard to watch helplessly. On another note my business plan has not yet been put into play. I'm confident that I will be able to get it off the ground. I just need to be patient. If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions on either of these things. That would be greatly appreciated,
