Constantly having to remind myself of my new mantra: this business will only work if I do! Life gets busy, life gets hectic, life gets you down; I don’t always want to take videos, take 50 pictures, cross post to eBay and Poshmark and Facebook and OfferUp. But the more I do the more I sell. I would love nothing more than for RHR and my training businesses to be my sole income! •When she’s too small to fit you squeeze in and make due! My favorite part- besides the store hunt... which makes this my second favorite part?? 😂 is trying things on. Sometimes a mannequin or flat lay just doesn’t do a piece justice, or I have an idea in mind for a styled look. And I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve put an outfit on and ended up falling for it so hard that I keep it 💀🤣...

Celebrating these 3 (now 4!) sales from the past couple days. 🎉

When I started RHR I was flying by the seat of my pants. I had goals in mind, of course: how many items I wanted to list, which days of the week I wanted to source, how much I wanted to make in my first month, etc.
•
But not everything goes according to plan!! And that’s okay! (Something I must constantly tell myself🤣) Entrepreneurs cannot work out of obligation; you’ll burn out and you’ll grow resentment towards the thing you started, the thing that’s supposed to support you, yes, but the thing that’s supposed to set you free.
•
“Comparison is the thief of joy” is never a truer statement, in this industry especially. Your favorite reseller has hundreds of thousands of followers, 50-100+ weekly sales, overflowing inventory, and have exited the 9 to 5 regular job rat race... and you too can get there!! WE can get there.
•
Readjust, realign your focus, take breaks when you need to, work harder when you have the energy to. Celebrate the third sale as much as the first sale, put as much energy into your last listing as your first!
•
Owning a business- especially one that revolves around your passions- is a journey, and not a final destination. Enjoy the ride!

Secondhand first!! The fashion industry creates an astronomical amount of waste. As a whole, we seem to have moved towards a society of reusable ziplocks, metal straws, biodegradable products; generally trying to reduce our footprint. So why not fashion?!

Plant life preserved, greenhouse gases not emitted, water saved- all because YOU made the fabulous choice to shop secondhand first!

Not huge on shopping to save Mother Earth? That’s cool- but who doesn’t love saving money?! Shopping secondhand allows you the luxury of champagne taste on a beer budget, without the personal hassle of sourcing the items from secondhand stores yourself!

Once I got going on these two pieces it was pretty easy to keep the ball rolling!!

I’m loving the grey buffet and the little nook shelf, and both are now available for local purchase for $210 & $85 respectively.
