In honor of the upcoming Labor Day holiday, this months theme at Burleson Antique Mall is Industrial with the well known Rosie the riveter.

We (myself and Candices Cottage) wanted to honor the vintage and current blue collar workers who keep the small towns, big cities and states moving forward. The behind the scenes men and women who Mike Rowe makes known on his TV shows. The ones the country music trio Alabama sings about in 40 Hour Week (For A Livin’)

Welcome to August and Back To School at Burleson Antique Mall.

Candice and I got busy today for this month. Vintage back to school with vintage learning toys.

And there are a few actual antiques in there! (An antique by definition is an item 100 years old or older.) I know there are a few antique school books in this display!
