Mother’s Day 2026 was when we finally planted our transplants 🙏🔥 The anxiety of feeling behind as we prepare for the farmers market and other sales channels is real. But, we are working hard and doing our best to keep up, while continuing to build our farm’s infrastructure!

I can’t wait to finally see some flowers bloom 🌼

From soil to bouquet! 🌱💐

Every stem you see here started as a tiny seed, rooted in healthy soil and grown with purpose. We believe beautiful flowers shouldn't come at the expense of the Earth, so we focus on practices that support the land, seasons, and pollinators that make it all possible! 🐝

This Earth Day, thank you for choosing flowers that are grown, not flown! 🌏

We did it! We’ve broken ground on our future farm in upstate New York this past week 🚜🌱!

This moment results from years of hard work, determination, and a willingness to take the leap. It hasn’t been easy, from winter struggles to first-time homeowner challenges 😅But each challenge has made us stronger and more resilient! 🙌

Now, it’s time to get our hands dirty and bring this dream to life. Here’s to the next chapter in our journey!✨

Spring is finally starting to show up and it feels so good! The sunshine, the greenery, and everything waking up again 🌱

At the same time…I’d be lying if I said it wasn't a little nerve wracking too.

We’re in that in-between stage where everything is almost ready, but not quite. The plot still needs work, there's a lot to figure out, and between weather and just having limited time and resources, things don't move as fast as I want them to.

But there are signs of progress everywhere - a fresh load of compost, trays full of seedlings, a new workbench, and new tools. It's not perfect, but it's happening.

I'm so ready to start getting things into the ground…and trying to trust that we’ll get there, one step at a time 🌼

The first steps are officially underway. 😅

As spring approaches, we’re beginning the process of establishing Grace Rose Flowers in New York.

I recently released a blog post that walks through what those early, unglamorous, deeply grounding steps actually look like: soil testing, site assessment, tarping, bed design, crop planning, and all the intentional decisions that happen long before a single bloom appears.

This kind of work brings me real joy and peace. When life feels like a whirlwind, slowing down to plan, observe the land, and build something thoughtfully from the ground up has been incredibly grounding.

If you’re curious about what it takes to turn a vision into a working farm or if you’re in a season of building something slowly and intentionally, I’d love for you to read along.

January = planning time for growers 🌱

As I begin purchasing seeds and tubers, planning the farm layout, and putting a schedule and overall plan together for 2026, I thought I’d write down some basic approaches, whether you're farming or gardening, to help guide you through your growing season!

I also included a couple of templates to help you out! Make sure to check our bio for the link or check out our website at www.graceroseflowers.com

Curious, what is the trickiest part of planning for you, and what helped you most? Share in the comments! 🌼

Before we plant a single seed for 2026, I started designing my bouquet recipes 💐✨ Mapping out seasonal blooms first helps clear the fog of farm planning and gave me a roadmap of what to grow and when.
From Spring poppies and ranunculus, to summer’s abundance of zinnias and lisianthus, to autumn’s dahlias and sunflowers - each recipe will guide the season ahead! 🌱

Swipe through the collages to see how these seasonal bouquets are shaping the vision for next year’s farm! 🌼

And just like that…I began my dream! 🏡🚜🌻

Since 2022, I’ve saved every dollar, made intentional financial choices, hustled at my day job, and experienced tremendous growth. I nurtured flowers, sold them, tried new things, faced failures, and celebrated successes.

My unwavering determination to own land for my passion for growing surpassed even my own expectations.

But it wasn’t just the dream of starting a flower farm that brought me here. It was the deep love I developed for myself, believing I deserved more. The power of self-love is profound. When you genuinely love and believe in yourself, it draws in others who support and uplift you. Without the love and encouragement from .woodshop, , and the rest of my family and friends, I might not have achieved this.

I want to show everyone that with determination, willpower, self-love, and a passion for growth, anything is possible. This week, I proved to myself and others that you can truly pursue your dreams. It’s all up to you!

I love seeing everyone’s dahlias right now 🥰 this is the first season I haven’t grown any and I can’t wait to grow them next season and this time hopefully with much more space! 🤗
Here are some pics of some of the dahlias grown last year! I love the peaches and cream variety - what are your favorite type of dahlias?!
