The heart behind our "Image Bearer" collection:

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

We are the very likeness of the True Living God. We were created to reflect Him.  Not just in the way we look, but in our hearts.  The way that we love others. God reached down in the clay, formed us, and breathed the breath of life into us.  As Image Bearers, we are loved above all of creation. We have the responsibility to look around at all of the other Image Bearers and see the beauty of His design and the beauty of God.  Ever feel all alone, but don't want to be? God created us to be with Him. His character is to want to have fellowship. God created us for fellowship with Him and others. In the Garden of Eden, God said, "It is not good for man to be alone." He created the second half of humanity, woman, from man. She was also created as an Image Bearer and for fellowship. In these two things we see the greatest commandments from the beginning of time! Love God and Love Others! Imago Dei

Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

Jesus tells us not to worry and not to be anxious. That sounds easy enough, right? However, so many people struggle with anxiety and worry. Some people struggle with anxiety over what they will eat or what they will wear. Jesus reminds us that God has provided already for the birds and clothed in beauty the flowers of the field. Some people struggle with anxiety over being accepted. Jesus says, "Come to me ALL who are weary and burdened." (Matt. 11:28) He reminds us that we all belong and have a place in the Kingdom of God. Some people struggle with anxiety over their own worth and value. God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that we would not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). God reminds us that we, as image-bearers of God (Gen. 1:27), have tremendous value and worth. Therefore, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all of these things will be provided to you!

Some people struggle with anxiety over what they will eat or what they will wear. Jesus reminds us that God has provided already for the birds and clothed in beauty the flowers of the field.
