I went with a “Travel America” theme to feature some 1970s souvenir pennants, vintage travel brochures, and a fabulous U.S. map crewel. I scored this fun old gumball machine at the thrift store a little over a month ago… It didn’t have a key, and I couldn’t think of anything I’d want to sell out of it, but it was too cool to pass up. After a little brainstorming sesh with Tara from Modern Vintage, I decided to turn it into a funky floor lamp complete with marble “gumballs.” This would certainly be a great conversation starter and a perfect statement piece! It is available now at Modern Vintage (119 Sunnyside St. NW, Hartville, OH 44632) for $250!

Today was RESTOCK DAY for the Little Thimble space! I brought in lots of new-to-you vintage goodies, including a ✨FABULOUS✨ 1957 rocker with the best Atomic-style upholstery. More favorites: A rainbow city skyline kitty needlepoint (all the way from Miami!); a handmade “Camera Infirmary” sign; an iconic “Gladys Goose” blow mold; and some fun deadstock PepsiCo tees! Hi friends! I know it’s been a little while since my last post. All is well – It’s just been a busy few weeks! I was prepping for a little getaway while working hard to keep Modern Vintage and Paradise Galleria fully stocked. 🪩🕺

A slight detour from thrift/vintage content: David and I recently travelled to Florida for the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix ☀️🏁

I bought David and I tickets for the Miami race as a Christmas gift last year. He has been such a huge support of my small business dreams, so I wanted to help one of his dreams come true, too! ♥️

Gosh, I could say so much about this trip… 🥹

…But I’ll keep it short just like a .antonelli lap around the Miami circuit 😉🩵

Miami and the surrounding areas are lush with vibrant Latin American culture and the most beautiful Art Deco architecture I’ve ever seen. And as for F1: Being in the grandstands with other fans cheering on our guys was truly exhilarating, and it only made me fall in love with the sport more! 🏎️💨
