We also specialize in wedding gown alterations and customizations. Summer Strickland is the independent Seamstress that is Fitted Stitches. Currently we are working with Ever After Bridal in Cleveland, TN and will do all of your Fittings there

Bridal Consultation? Bridal Gown Pinning? Formalwear Pinning? Prom? Steaming? We know all those options can get a little confusing, especially if you’ve never had alterations done before.

So we put together a quick guide to help you choose the right appointment for what you need.

One of the biggest questions we get is about Bridal Consultations vs. Bridal Gown Pinning. A consultation is completely optional and is perfect if you have questions, want to discuss possible changes, or would like to talk through pricing before getting started.

If you’ve already purchased your gown and you’re ready to move forward with alterations, you can skip the consultation and schedule your Bridal Gown Pinning. And remember, you can reserve that appointment as soon as you purchase your gown. You do not have to wait for your dress to arrive!

Our studio may be buzzing with sewing machines, fittings, and plenty of beautiful dresses, but we do not offer walk-in hours.

Being appointment only allows us to give our full attention to the client in The Parlour while also protecting the dedicated sewing time our team needs behind the scenes. 🧵🤍

✨ 2026 Booking Update ✨

Wedding season is keeping us busy, and our fall calendar is filling fast! 🤍

👰 Bridal: We are now fully booked for events through October, with only a few openings remaining for November.

👗 Formalwear: We are currently closed for events before mid-October.

At Fitted Stitches, we intentionally accept a limited number of garments at a time. This allows us to keep each dress moving through the fitting process while giving every garment the time, care, and attention it deserves.

We are not a quick-turnaround alterations studio, and we never want rushed work to become our standard. When our schedule allows us to accommodate a shorter timeline, significant rush fees may apply.

If you have a late fall or winter event, now is the time to get on our calendar. And for our 2027 brides, it is never too early to plan ahead. Our booking calendar is open up to a year in advance. 🤍

Beautiful work takes time, and your dress deserves it.

There’s just something about a statement bow on a wedding gown. 🤍

Whether we’re creating one completely custom, adding a beautiful premade bow, or helping a bride take her gown from pretty to ohhhh YES… we are always here for a little extra bow drama.

Big bows. Little bows. Structured bows. Soft and flowy bows.

Basically, if your answer is “but what if we added a bow?” our answer is probably YES. 😂🎀

Wedding season at Fitted Stitches is going great. 😂

Lots of beautiful gowns, lots of stitching, lots of fittings… and apparently lots of questionable facial expressions from your seamstress.

All jokes aside, I truly love seeing that long line of dresses. Every single one belongs to a bride who has trusted us with such an important part of her wedding day, and that never gets old. 🤍

So yes, we’re busy. Yes, I make weird faces about it. And yes, I absolutely love what I do.

Your dresses are in very capable hands. The face is unrelated. 😂

Your wedding photos are absolutely beautiful, and you were simply stunning. We loved every detail of your gown, from the romantic off-the-shoulder sleeves to that fabulous statement bow in the back.

Working with you was such a joy, and somewhere along the way, we fell in love with your whole family too! From the bride and groom to the wonderful women standing beside you, it was such an honor to have our stitches woven into so many special parts of your wedding day. A little Closet Refresh under the needle today!

We’re freshening up the wardrobe for one of our past prom girls before she heads off to college in a few weeks. This pretty floral dress is getting a little extra attention with the sides taken in and the zipper reset for a better fit.

While bridal and formalwear are the heart of what we do, The Fitted Closet Refresh gives us a chance to work a little magic on some of the other pieces in your wardrobe too.

Closet Refresh is a limited seasonal service because we believe in giving every garment the time and attention it deserves. We’re not a fast fashion or quick-turn alterations shop. Thoughtful craftsmanship takes time. 🧵
