Four months to the day.

On February 9, we closed our doors as ordered by the city.

On June 9, we passed our final inspection. 😭

What we expected to be a short closure turned into four months of permits, construction, inspections, setbacks, problem-solving, and more patience than we knew we had.

We’re incredibly proud that we stuck with it.

The Girls’ Joint exists because Mandi and Judie believed Cleveland needed a space that felt welcoming, beginner-friendly, community-driven, and for the girls, g**s, and theys.

Even when things got hard, that vision never changed. There are still a few final details to wrap up, but for the first time in a long time, we see the finish line.

Thank you to everyone who checked in on us, attended events, hosted/supported our pop-ups, shared our posts, and reminded us why this was worth it. We’ll have reopening details soon, and yes, we want to be obnoxious and have a grand re-opening party this summer.

We are trying to keep cool, but we are so excited to announce: The Girls’ Joint is popping up at Pride in the CLE 2026 on Saturday, June 6! We’re bringing the cute, curated, femme-forward gardening vibes to Downtown Cleveland all day long.

The past few months have felt like the world’s longest winter, but behind the scenes, we have been doing everything we can to keep The Girls’ Joint moving forward because we believe in it that much.

Pop-ups. Workshops. Late nights. Last-minute pivots. Cancellations. City Hall followups. Fighting Meta. Reworking plans over and over again. Showing up wherever we could.

And through all of it, Cleveland showed up right back.

To every person who came to an event, shared a post, checked in, invited us to pop up, collaborated with us, sent encouragement, or reminded us why this community matters so much; thank you. Truly.

It finally feels like we’re turning that last corner toward reopening 🥲🥹😱

Good things are coming, buds. Thanks for believing in us.
