For the last 25 weeks, I have been participating in the free sew along called Sewcialites 3 offered by

Each block was designed by a different designer and i used it as a skill builder project

I learned more about piecing together six inch blocks and how to pick my own fabric color choices. Shockingly I didn't miss a week!

There is no sewcialites next year, so just for fun I may go back and make sewcialites 1 or 2.

Now to layer, quilt and bind!

Working on my layout of a smaller version of All American Remix by

Fabric is All American by Deb Strain

My goal it to have it quilted (cross hatched on my domestic machine) and bound before the 4th of July so it can be used on the recliner for the summer.

I am loving how its coming together and I am thinking of doing a red inner border and then a dark blue outer border. Backing is the blue with red trucks.
