Working on my layout of a smaller version of All American Remix by

Fabric is All American by Deb Strain

My goal it to have it quilted (cross hatched on my domestic machine) and bound before the 4th of July so it can be used on the recliner for the summer.

I am loving how its coming together and I am thinking of doing a red inner border and then a dark blue outer border. Backing is the blue with red trucks.

When is rains all day on a saturday it gives you a good excuses to stay inside and sew.

Made this adorable tote bag kit from and Around the Block Quilt shop in Palmyra that I bought at the Quilt Show last week. I did make one change by leaving the bows off and added a button closure.

Its going to be the perfect bag to throw my cross stitch projects in to take with me throughout the summer.
