If ever there was a reason to celebrate Springtime it is this year after a long hard winter. Downtown Clinton businesses will be presenting “The 3rd Annual Doing Clinton Springtime ” The weekend event is scheduled for Saturday/Sunday, April 12th and 13th from Noon to 4:00 featuring two days of activities which will showcase over 35 (thi

rty-five) shops and businesses in the historic Town of Clinton. Imagine Downtown Clinton without snow – imagine Downtown Clinton with blossoms on the trees – imagine Downtown Clinton with a fresh Spring breeze – imagine “Doing Clinton Springtime.” You’re invited to come, participate and enjoy Springtime. Fashion has always been a part of our “Doing Clinton” events but this time we’re going to do something new and exciting – FASHION on MAIN. Participating clothiers will be doing an impromptu fashion show with models strutting their fashions and fragrances up and down Main Street. Floral arrangements and spring flowers will be displayed around Town during the event. If we are lucky the pink blossoms will also be blooming! Enjoy chocolate sampling from our local chocolatier just in time for Easter and wine & cheese pairing with
fine New Jersey wines. These are just a few of the great food experiences that will be featured at the event. Spring – a time for new styles, a time for a new look. Beauty and hair-styling tips will be offered by beauty salons and day spas. DRAWINGS will be offered by some businesses. Experience the newest trends for Spring with gifts and invitations and don’t forget to capture and save your Springtime memories with professional photographs and framing. This “Doing Clinton” event will also have children’s activities including a special “Mommy and Me” project. Music is another change from our past events. Students from our musical professional businesses will provide an array of local talent. Come, listen and cheer them on.

“Doing Clinton Springtime” weekend will be held at the business locations of participating business owners in the Downtown Clinton area from Noon thru 4:00 pm each day. Three municipal parking lots are available with easy parking and access to downtown. "Doing Clinton - A Tropical Adventure" event is many things to many people. Tropical clothing and jewelry might be just what you are looking for.

If so you must stop by Beyond Bijoux on the corner of Center and Leigh Streets to check it out on Sat/Sun - July 9th and 10th. Also look for the "Free Earring Girl" strolling around town during the event to receive a free pair of earrings.

You don't have to wait until the event though to stop in and be amazed with all the wonderful products and prices that they offer.

Cuts for Cancer - Sunday May 22nd from 1pm to 5pm at Sal's Family Image, 25 Old Highway 22 in Clinton.
Proceeds for this event will go directly to Adam Hett a 20 year old with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Help support this worthy cause.
