I can’t believe it’s almost November. It has been 232 days since our base/state began what I refer to as “The COVID Games” - the rules change often, no one knows what’s going on, and happiness has been in short supply.
It’s been a genuinely hard year for most people. Different degrees of hard, but hard just the same. Many of us have missed traditions, missed family, missed friends, and felt a bit of depression. I’ve known more than a few people that have either spoken out about mental health issues or lost a family member tragically to mental health issues, and unfortunately have lost more than just a few classmates and people I served with to su***de this year.
So here’s a reminder, in case you need it, to protect your mental health and reach out to friends and loved ones if you find yourself falling into a bad mental place. And, know that you will always have Him on your side, no matter how difficult the times may seem.
