Hey all! Long time no post! Life’s been super busy!
I’ve made the decision to rebrand both of my handmade businesses into one.
Luca Paige Apparel and More!
I’m not 100% sure yet whether I will pursue starting slings again, that decision is still up in the air. However the rebrand could possibly include that in the future.
So I’ve changed my fb group to reflect the rebrand and will be posting updates in there from now on! So head over there and give it a follow!

Good morning everyone! Just a quick impromptu how to video this morning!!!!
Cradle carry in a ring sling.
This carry can be tricky to do safely. And as always when Babywearing be aware of little ones position that they don’t slump and that their airway remains clear.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted on here and I apologize! 2020 was a crazy year business wise and for my family! We welcomed a new little one into our family the end of February and I finally got around to making a new sling to use for him!
I realized making this how much I’ve missed making slings, it’s been 3 1/2 long years since I’ve been able to make them, I’m going to work hard getting everything in order to get the testing done so I can get back at it!!!

Getting back to something I love!! It’s not sling fabric “yet”
But I’m dying bamboo fabric for face shields. I’m so happy to have a dye table set up again!
I’ll be doing some other stuff soon

We are making and selling face masks!
Outside fabric is bamboo spandex knit which is super soft and breathable. Inner layer is a sheer weight interfacing(or polypropylene fabric) that is a light filter like fabric. That being said these WILL NOT STOP A VIRUS from penetrating the mask!! They will prevent particle spray and possibly some bacteria.
And there is a metal piece in the nose to mold to your nose
They can (and should) be washed between uses. I am leaving the ear pieces untied so you can get the right fit for you. (My husband needs a 9” ear-band and I need about a 7”)
They are $6 each. I will have a few print choices to choose from.
(I am also making and setting aside several to donate in the local area if the need arises)

Throwback Thursday to when Sarah’s Slings and Things began!
Almost 11 years ago I made my first sling when a friend who knew I sewed asked me to make her a new one and I made myself one at the same time. And that’s where it all began 🙂

Happy New Year!!! We are excited for 2020!

My main goal this year is to get the sling testing finished this year so we can get back up and going! I made one for a dog the other day and realized how much I miss it!
