Planet 8 clothing theme is to "Make a Difference" not only with the environment, but amongst the people in our community." We believe Planet 8 should be world wide to bring all types of communities together as one to, Make a Difference. Our Planet 8 Clothing purpose is to spread our Planet 8 Movement of trying to Make A Difference in this world. We want to promote people to try to be a better pers

on by taking care of yourselves, your community and the environment around you. This type of movement should be not just something someone does occasionally, but to make it become a lifestyle representation of living a better life. Some of the ways we are trying to make a difference is by volunteering in our community. We want to try and help make our communities a better place for people to live in. We feel that everyone is able to easily connect to this lifestyle of supporting something more positive in this world. We encourage positive energy to spread around by having people wear our clothing line and help support the difference were trying to make. The 8 in Planet 8 represents the circle of life of people coming together to better themselves and others. The number 8 is symbolic, for that it has 2 circles in the number. Planet 8 wants to show how the 2 circles represent different types of lifestyles, that can come together as one. Having one thing in common of wanting to live a good life, in a good community of supporting making a difference for something better. A few things we have accomplished by helping out, are picking a service project each weekend where we go out and volunteer in our community somewhere in need. Service project #1 was located at the Palm lakes apartments old golf course. Service Project #2 was located at the San Joaquin River. We went and volunteered with the Hands on Central California Organization and cleaned up different parts of the river. From picking up trash, to removing weeds, and removed yellow star thistle to stop the elimination of the species living in the area. Service Project #3 was a beautification project located at Lafayette Park in Fresno, CA which was Earth Day. We repainted the baseball backstops, removed grafitti, picked up trash and weeds, and made it a safer place for the kids to play on the slides in the playground. Service project #4 was located at Qugley Park which was another beautification project. We picked up trash all around the park. We raked the playground area and tidied up the plant areas around the park. Service project #5 was located at the Fresno Rescue Mission. We helped serve breakfast to the people living there trying to get back on their feet. Service project #6 was with the Boys and Girls Club. This volunteer project was located near the Fresno State Bulldog stadium. We went out and planted 60 trees in the area. Sevice project #7 was with the Boys and Girls Club. This was another project to Serve-A-Meal for a local church. We helped prepare and disperse the meals. Service project #8 was the Go Green and Clean Regional Sports Complex. This was another beautification project where we removed graffiti, swept sidewalks, raked and trimmed the garden areas. Service project #9 was with the Boys and Girls Club. This volunteer project was a Serve-A-Meal project for a local church. We helped prepare the meals and served them to everyone there. Service project #10 was another beautification project in Pismo, CA. We went to Pismo beach to pick up trash down by the shore. Sevice project #11 was with the, Lose the Training Wheels Organization. This was a week long project. Each day we worked on helping kids who have down syndrome and autism learn how to ride a bike. This was so much fun and such a great experience! Service project #12 was with the Ronald McDonald House. This was another Serve-A-Meal project. The Ronald McDonald house is a facility where families can stay with their children who are suffering at Valley Children's Hospital to be more close with their families. Service project #13 was with the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. This project was the Ice Cream Zoofari. We helped serve ice cream to the people attending. Service project #14 was with Topsoccer. This event was for kids with special needs so they can get the chance to participate in an organized soccer league.
