This is a great tournament and fishing will be awesome! We look forward to seeing you all out there and competing for this high paying event. Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Community Partnership BBQ going on today from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Silver Lake Mall. This fun and educational event celebrates the partnership between our First Responders from Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement. Come and learn about how and why they operate the way they do. We are proud of the strong local connections between  our First Responders and the Citizens they serve. On hand at the event will be your local First Responders displaying equipment, educating citizens on how and why they use the equipment, and giving you a chance to see, touch, and feel some of the cool things they use, to include K9 demos and scenarios.

Additionally, their recruiting team will be on site to answer any questions about career opportunities with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. But that’s not all! We’re excited to announce a bustling vendor fair, featuring local artisans, businesses, and organizations offering a range of products and services. Don’t miss out on this day of fun, education, and community spirit!

Our Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit will be serving a free community BBQ. Sheriff Norris will be on hand to meet citizens, talk about his vision for the future of public safety in Kootenai County, and discuss ways the agency can better serve you.
