⛳️Golf Carts and Car Seats Don’t Mix

A car seat does not make a golf cart safe for children.

Car seats are designed and crash-tested for use in passenger vehicles with:
✔ Seat belts
✔ Proper seating positions
✔ Vehicle safety systems and protective structures

Golf carts are not designed to safely transport children in car seats because they lack the features needed for proper installation and protection.

What Parents and Grandparents Should Know:

❌ Car seats cannot be installed according to manufacturer instructions in most golf carts
❌ Golf carts do not provide the crash protection found in passenger vehicles
❌ Children can be ejected or injured during sudden turns, stops, rollovers, or collisions

Even at low speeds, serious injuries can occur.

The safest choice is to transport children in a properly equipped motor vehicle using a correctly installed car seat or booster seat.
