This will be my last post regarding the 57 Remsen st flea market . We are all packed up and moved out .
A heartfelt THANK YOU to ALL who supported the numerous vendors who called 57 Remsen st their business address for the past 10 years .
I’ve met so many people and made many friends as the owner / manager of the market . Some will definitely become lifelong friends .
Never thought that a small , local fleamarket would become the greatest hobby for myself and my husband . Not only was it a great way to meet others , it was a supplement to our social security and pension .
I guess the best part is that many of my vendors have grown and now have their own vintage / antique , thrift stores . I am very proud of them in taking the leap from being a vendor to being a business owner . I hope I played a small part in their desire to have them open up their own retail business .
Want to thank the original owner of the Remsen st flea market , Deb, who
actually thought of the idea to bring an indoor flea market to Cohoes . My landlord , John , who allowed us to rent the building , when others were skeptical and reluctant to think it could succeed .
And all the customers who continued to stop , shop and buy at the flea market for a total of 10 years !!!!
