📣 Even PR firms need a little PR

Segel Associates hired SwivelStudios to create a brand for their communications and marketing strategy firm. Owner Devon Perry offered two tidbits to start with: Epcot’s Spaceship Earth and a red, white and black color palette. Before an official design kick-off, SwivelStudios performed a full branding assessment, benchmarking the strengths of the company, and filtering out characteristics they do not represent, defining the target audience and potential client base. Along with a modular tagline, we delivered a set of branding guidelines including scalable adaptations for print, digital, and social media.

⭐ Inova Schar Cancer Institute Gratitude Report ⭐

After a banner year of fundraising for the Inova Schar Cancer Institute, the Inova Health Foundation communications team wanted to create an impact report that would help high-level donors understand the difference their philanthropy had made—and feel inspired about the future of cancer care at Inova. Swivel worked with writing partner Kris Conner (krisconner.com) to create a report that documented the power of philanthropy and its effect on Northern Virginia's families and patients fighting cancer. Because of COVID-19, opportunities for new photography were limited, so Swivel came up with an innovative solution that relied on dramatic color, typography, thematic illustrations, and infographics. We delivered a powerful piece that both highlighted and humanized Inova's amazing stories of clinical advances and life-changing impact on patients and families. 'Research at Penn' is a coffee-table-worthy publication showcasing the top research from cutting-edge disciplines such as veterinary medicine, urban studies, and astronomy to name a few.
