Another generation learning the ins and outs of farming. Mitchell Rogers, age 80, is teaching his grandson Drew Rogers, age 12, how to harvest peanuts.

We make coffee all day if anyone wants it but not many people drink HOT COFFEE when it is 97 degrees; not even in HOT COFFEE!!

Hot Coffee is down from Taylorsville, out from Mount Olive, up from Ellisville and over from Laurel. But the best way to get there is through Collins. Which puts Hot Coffee somewhere in the middle.…

Yesterday was everything I had hoped for since we started cooking. Tourist, truck drivers, workers that were in this area, new people & regular customers coming in for Burgers, Red Beans & Rice, Sandwiches, & Chicken Tenders! While in here, they were shopping! One guy came in for a Burger & ended up spending $181!! A WONDERFUL DAY!!

Covington County native Reagan D***s helped the University of Alabama's Crimson Tide Softball Team reach the World Series. Although they lost in the final game against Oklahoma, we're sure proud of a home town person doing great things! Read about her in this week's edition.
