I’ve had a booth and been working at since 2019. I’ve been looking at this sign for that long and it’s so true! People get upset when they come in a week later and the treasure they were looking at is gone. Happens all the time. We have over 60 dealers and cool stuff is flying out the door everyday. So when you see something that speaks to you, grab it! More and more young people are appreciating and buying vintage. Just sold some vintage 1990’s clothes yesterday! 😳😂🤦🏼‍♀️ 🙀. Whah?

The history of the Collins Ax Factory just fascinates me. I moved here in 2019 and promptly got a booth and a studio in the Collins Factory complex. Totally immersing myself among these historical buildings in one of the coolest small towns in CT has inspired me as a history buff and an artist. I can’t get enough!
The best part I get to see and learn first hand about the tools that were made here. The Collins Ax Co. was the largest maker of sharp edged tools in the world for over 150 years. It started in 1826 and went into the 1960’s. I love learning about the history and what was made here. I get to walk the halls and imagine the many workers standing sharpening, grinding etc. I love it all! So here are a few that were made here. The last photo are two that are rare and still available for purchase. Enjoy!!!
