A little bit about Cloud 29 for any newcomers or followers to my page…
Cloud 29 is a small shop in Collinsville, TX that features eclectic finds specializing in vintage goodies and collectibles and is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11-6pm.
I find my loot at estate sales, antique auctions, friend’s hand-me-downs, online markets and random things that I have collected over the years that I’m willing to let go of. I try to put out new items each Friday and/or Saturday, so the store is slowly changing each week, bit by bit, and you never know what’s in store for you when you come into browse around.
I founded Cloud 29 in May of 2023 after my husband, Dusty Wainscott, tragically died in the line of duty with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. You will see a memorial flag upon entering the store and a memorial wall in the store honoring his life and legacy as a Law Enforcement Officer. It was our dream to one day do the “antiquing game” after he retired from Law Enforcement. The store is a tribute to him & our love.
That said, I never usually have an abundance of seasonal items, but Easter Season is approaching and I just wanted to share a little “Early Spring Love” with these cute bunnies and Easter decor.
My favorite is the vintage white Easter Bunny blow-mold that is functional and lights up. It is lit in this picture but due to my natural store lighting, it’s hard to tell.
Blow Mold Easter Bunny is $40
“Milk Chocolate” (looks like chocolate but it’s plaster) Easter Bunny is $19
Set of 3 Fabric Carrots is $6
So, not a tremendous amount of Easter decor this year at “The Cloud” but some is better than none.
I encourage you to pop in any Friday or Saturday 11-6pm to see what the store is about. You never know what might just call itself from my place to yours!
Happy Saturday everyone! Enjoy the beautiful weather!
Love,
Lindsey
