Job Description:

- Thread trimming
- Serging
- Straight stitch
- Some packing and other miscellaneous tasks

- Must have experience on an industrial serger machine and straight stitch machine.
- Must pay attention to detail and care about the product being sewn.

- Business is ran from home and located in Troy, NC
- Relaxed work environment
- Hours are flexible and can be worked around your schedule

Hello world!
Wow I have never felt so famous! This has been a wonderful experience!

As of right now I have made and donated over 300 masks.

That being said, I need a break folks! I will continue to fill the orders that have already been placed through Facebook, phone calls, texts, messenger, and email.

I do ask that if I have messaged you saying your masks are ready to pick up, please pick up within 2 days. The baskets will be out from 8am to 9 pm daily.

Again I am so extremely grateful for the overwhelming amount of support I have been feeling.

I will keep everyone posted on what is coming next!

Hey everyone again!

I want to thank everyone again for their support and patience! My husband and I have been working diligently on these masks and I have even been seeing them in my sleep!

That being said, I am going to keep making as many as I can. If you have not already, and are wanting masks, please comment on this or my original post. I’m also asking if you wouldn’t mind specifying girl, boy or neutral masks for kids sizes. I’m running low on boys prints/colors.

If I have messaged you to let you know your masks are done, please pickup within 2 days or I will redistribute them. Pickup is welcome between 7:30 am and 9pm.

I know everybody, myself included, is trying to figure out what this new temporary normal means, so if I can help you find some peace through these masks I am so happy to. That being said, if anybody would like to donate some SANITY, I will gladly take it! Haha I think I may be losing my mind!

You guys rock and thank you for bearing with me while I’m putting some heavy miles on my machines!

Hello friends!

Since it is now highly recommended in Colorado to wear masks I have jumped on the wagon of making them. I will NOT be charging for these masks. However I will gladly accept donations and please keep me in mind for all your alterations and custom work in the future.

I plan on making 3 sizes, kids, teens/women’s and adult/men’s. You will have to pick them up on the porch.

Put in your orders! I plan on making 100 to start so please be patient with me since I’m kind of excited to have all this time with my hubby and doggies!

Thank you all for your continued support and I pray we can kick COVID-19’s butt much sooner than expected.

Edit: I will message you when your masks are done and send you my address! Please comment on these posts I will work down the line filling orders. Thank you so much!

Update: 4/4/2020
Thanks to my awesome husbands help and motivational words we were able to get about 60 masks done last night! As of now, I am out of men’s and women’s masks. So we will be starting up on another batch shortly. I so appreciate everyone’s support so far and am loving the process of helping people! This is the highlight of the quarantine for me! So keep an eye on your messenger, and I’ll be reaching out to you as soon as I have your masks ready. Please keep in mind, if I have messaged you and your masks are done, they are specifically for you. If you cannot pick them up within a day or so, let me know so I can pass them along to someone who needs them quickly. And I will make new ones to fill your order!

A message to all my customers during this crazy time!

I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and business everyone has shown me in the past couple of years here in Colorado Springs! I cannot believe the amount of work I have taken in. I am so thankful!

That being said, during this time of uncertainty and craziness, I have stopped taking in clothes for a while. Just to follow in the footsteps of other similar businesses. I do not want to put anybody’s health or my family’s in jeopardy.

I will say, now is a wonderful time to go through those closets! Try everything on that you haven’t worn in a while for one reason or another. And don’t forget your SUMMER CLOTHES!! Summer is right around the corner, even amid this fresh 4” of snow last night!

Make a pile of garments that you would like to rock this summer and bring them on over when all this has come to a close.

Again, thank you to everyone so very much. I miss interacting with my customers, but I’m using this time to enjoy this very large amount of quality time with my hubby and get stuff done!

And by all means, any questions you have feel free to send them my way! I have been limiting my phone screen time since scrolling through Facebook has a way of making my heart hurt right now. But I will get back to you as soon as possible!

I have a home based business!
I know this discourages some people from using my services, since I do not have a storefront. I admit it can be viewed as a drawback. But as soon as you come into our home, my shop is right down the stairs, step into my shop you can tell I am nothing but professional and business oriented. My shop takes up the entire open downstairs level of our home. Complete with a very full fabric room, and comfortable large changing room. Having been doing this for 10 years I have learned that my tools are very important. I only use the best sewing machines and supplies. As of now I have an industrial lockstitch, serger, coverstitch, and blind hem machine. One way my work stands above other alterations shops is my high quality work with stretchy materials. Being young and having experience working in the design and construction process of spandex, Lycra, and stretch fabric clothing, sets me apart. Also the machine I have that allows me to work with knits. It is not one of the staples in traditional alteration shops. And especially not in dry-cleaner/alterations combos. I dedicate myself to my work and absolutely love what I do! I promise that when I am done nobody will even know that your clothes have been altered to fit perfectly. That is my goal! I love meeting new people and making them feel important, because they are! I appreciate my customers so much and want to thank everyone here in Colorado Springs for their amazing support! Thank you, thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous custom ball dress I made. This beautiful customer of mine had an idea of what she wanted and I made it come to life! It even has pockets... and let me tell you, putting pockets on a dress with a side zipper was a lot of fun! Yikes, but just goes to show, I am the zipper queen. @ Colorado Springs, Colorado
