Now Hiring: Presser — Powers Center Cleaners Colorado Springs, CO
We’re a family-owned dry cleaning business looking for a reliable presser to join our team. If you take pride in clean, crisp work and like staying busy, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Press and finish shirts, pants, coats, and dresses to a clean, professional standard. Inspect each garment before and after pressing for stains, damage, or missed spots. Sort and organize garments by fabric type and pickup schedule. Keep your station and the work area clean and safe. Work with the rest of the team to keep orders moving and ready on time. Flag any equipment problems to the owner or supervisor right away.
What We’re Looking For
Some experience pressing or working in a dry cleaner is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person. You should be comfortable operating pressing equipment safely, have a good eye for detail, and be able to stand and stay on your feet through a shift. Reliability and showing up ready to work matter most to us. Knowing different fabric types and how to handle them is a plus.
Nice to Have
Prior dry cleaning or garment care experience, familiarity with a high-volume workflow, and an understanding of basic safety around hot equipment.
