You can't have an omelette with no eggs, a car with no wheels, or a beach with no water, right? Well, we're the same, my brother and me. Apart, we're incomplete and we just don't work. Together, perfect harmony. I'm Gunner (on the right, with longer ears) and he's Copper. I'm the more outgoing of the two of us, so I'll do the talking.
We're five years old and we're twins and best friends and both exceptionally good boys. My brother here, well, he's a little more on the cautious side. He likes to have me along to reassure him when he meets new people. But give him a few treats and he gets over any apprehensions pretty quickly. Me, on the other hand... well, I love everyone pretty much right away!
We're used to living in a pretty busy place. We came from a home with cats, other dogs, and even little kids. We got along great with all of them, but it was a lot for our people to deal with, so ultimately, we had to come back here. We both walk nicely on leash and we're housebroken. Didn't we tell you we're very good boys?
We're dogs, though, not robots, and every dog has to have a little fun! In our case, my brother and I like to invent our own games. Sometimes, I'll dig a hole and Copper will squeeze through it and go visit neighbors! And sometimes, if we're left alone for long periods of time, we get bored and lonely and... well, anything could happen! The humans tend to be less than amused by our shenanigans, but we think it's super fun! In the name of peace and finding a home, though, we recommend getting us crates to hang out in while you're not around and keeping an eye on us when we're outside.
We know two big dogs is a lot to ask someone to take on, but where Copper goes, I go, and vice versa. It's going to make it harder for us to find a place, it's true- we've already been waiting for several months- but it will be worth it when we find just the right home together!
My name is Gunner and my brother is Copper. We're five years old and we're neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. We're available for adoption (together) and if you'd like to meet us, please make an appointment!
