To our loyal guests, friends and family:

We are extremely sad to say that September 30th will be our last day at the Factory at Columbia 😔

We have LOVED sharing our little store for littles with you for the last 2 years but it’s time to say goodbye 👋

Kids grow up and move out of the house eventually, right?

…and that’s how I’m choosing to see this.

This has been a place that families needed and we’re so proud of that!

I have loved watching dads color with their little girls and moms finding a safe (and affordable) place to shop where their kids can run free without fear 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️

I have searched for an affordable alternative but haven’t been able to find anything. I have always believed in community involvement, so if you have creative ideas on locations, we are TOTALLY open to those 😊

Saturday (9/13) brings a mix of usual favorites and a few new activities, plus a chance to see what Glovebox has been working on during Second Saturdays.

🆕 Just added: a fundraiser event at Spring Hill HS with confirmed activities for kids and a fall open house at Baxter’s Mercantile with a free ice cream cone to the first 20 customers.

PLEASE READ 🙏

Lots of times when folks post pics of their kids, they say “time slow down” ✋

Well - we’re kind of in charge of that, if ya think about it?

We spend hours in traffic or scrolling online…

WHAT IF - we just took away 2 things?
1) online shopping
2) driving to “bigger” towns that have “more” to offer

Slow down. Shop local. Today. Don’t put it off.

Amazon / the Galleria don’t care about bringing your family closer, and they sure don’t care if another family owned local business closes its doors permanently.

This may be preaching to the choir, if you’ve actually taken time to read this whole thing… but ONE PERSON can make a difference!!

There was one day last week that we made ZERO dollars and a couple others recently where we’ve made less than $10 😔 and I’m willing to bet we’re not the only mom ‘n pop here that have had this experience!
