Straight Grain Studio is a bright, spacious studio that offers services such as alterations, classes, a patternmaking table, four Bernina sewing machines to rent in store by the hour, a serger, a coverstitch machine, and the opportunity to meet with like-minded sewers and crafters. It is $7.50/hour to rent a machine, $15/hour to rent a machine with help, and $35/hour to receive a private lesson wi

th the owner, Tina. Classes include patternmaking, draping and fitting, beginner and advanced sewing projects, and craft workshops such as felting, crocheting, and even tassel making.
