Shakira Shakira dream dress was a literal piece of jewelry, completely covered in pearls!

We got all of her alterations done months before her wedding and she was able to come back a couple weeks before to take in the bodice a bit more to give it a snug fit. Such a good reminder to start alterations early, we can always do a final fitting before the wedding!

For Brittney’s dress we added bra cups, hemmed all of those pearly layers, took in the bodice and added a bustle.

Sweet Anna got her vintage babydoll dress from in Nashville. It always a privilege to work on vintage dresses because as a seamstress I get to see marks of its previous life and sometimes previous alterations and day dream about the life this dress has had. For Anna, we shortened the hem, starched the lace to give it renewed structure and did a few bodice adjustments to get the perfect fit. Anna looked incredible for her NYC wedding 🤍✨
